Announcing the 2026-2027 Tour de Finn Season

The Tour de Finn celebrates local, grassroots ski racing and encourages you to get out to more races in more places this season! This is your chance to try out that race you’ve always thought looked cool and explore new trails across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

This year's Tour connects over 11 weeks of racing to cultivate consistent activity for racers, deepen connections to local communities, and show our support to the hardworking trail systems and organizations that put in the hard work to put on these fantastic races.

If you join any of the series’ races, you are automatically in the Individual results. Registered teams can compete in the co-ed teams division where the top six team members’ points are logged each race for a total score at the end of the season. Points are accrued by a combination of participation, age incentives, and finish placement. See here for more details. You can register your team (up to 10 people) through the second race for full points.

Big updates for this year:

- We are adding leader bibs, so you can eye the competition during the races.

- We are welcoming Sisu Ski Fest, Ski de She, Nordic Spirit Ski Race, and North End Classic to this year’s schedule!

- Brynje and Darn Tough have joined as sponsors!

Now here’s the ask of you - go round up some friends and sign up as a team! Lay out your racing plans for the season and start doing your snow dance.

There are 15 races this year, so get planning early!

Your top six races count for the individual score, but you can score for your team at any of the races, provided you’re in the top three of your team for your gender.

May the race schedule scheming begin!
