Meet Michaela Keller-Miller

Meet Michaela Keller-Miller

Michaela Keller-Miller grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota where she spent her Sunday afternoons learning to ski with her three sisters at Minnesota Youth Ski League. She went on to join Wayzata High School’s ski team in 7th grade which she credits with helping her find her passion for skiing (and finally learning how to V2). In the summers, Michaela mixed cross country running training with Loppet Nordic Racing where she got her first taste of what year-round ski training could look like. Following high school, Michaela ventured to Alaska where she represented the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves at the NCAA Championships.

After graduating with an accounting degree in 2020, Michaela moved back across the country to Craftsbury, Vermont where she’s currently a professional skier for the Green Racing Project. She has her sights set on qualifying for World Cups this season by racing well on the domestic SuperTour circuit. When she’s not out ski training or helping with projects and coaching at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, she enjoys lake days like a true Minnesotan, amateur cooking (go-to dish is curry), and outdoor adventures. Her favorite types of ski training are hilly skate intervals or a long trail or gravel run.

After racing all over the US throughout college and high school, she still considers Theodore Wirth some of her favorite ski trails (because where else can you enjoy the city skyline, trees, and lakes all in one ski?). She’s looking forward to being back in the Midwest for SuperTour racing this December. Until then, she’ll be training hard on the country roads of rural Vermont.
