What are the store’s hours?
As of November 2, 2020, we are open Monday-Friday 10-7, Saturday 10-4, and closed Sundays.
Holiday hours: December 24 and 31, 2020, we are open 10-2.
We are closed on December 25, 2020, and January 1, 2021.
What credit cards do you accept?
We offer the following payment methods: Credit Card – We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover (U.S. orders only.) We generally do not accept credit cards from international customers.
What are your shipping rates?
U.S. shipping rates are based on the sales total:
• $0 – $99 Shipping $7
• $100 – $199 Shipping $15
• $200 – $499 Shipping $25
• $500 and up Shipping $35
Canada/Alaska/Hawaii is $10 extra. Please call for International rates.
Most orders are shipped via US Postal Service, otherwise UPS. All orders are shipped insured. Additional charges would be applicable for any expedited shipping methods like 2nd day or overnight express. Please get in touch with us after you order in case you want your order to reach you faster than other normal methods.
International shipping is extra. Please call or email for a shipping quote.
What about taxes?
All Minnesota customers pay sales tax of 7.325%
When will I receive my shipment?
All merchandise is subject to availability and prior sale and, all orders are subject to acceptance by Finn Sisu. Most orders are shipped within 72 hours. Please note that a very small number of orders require extra processing time for various reasons. If you have ordered an item that is out-of-stock or sold-out, we will attempt to contact you immediately. Kindly understand that a delay may also occur if your credit card was declined or for address verification if your billing address was entered incorrectly. All merchandise and prices on Finnsisu.com are subject to change without notice.
How do I return my order?
Merchandise can be returned for exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase. The merchandise must be returned new, unused, unaltered, and in a sellable condition with all of the original packaging. Used non-defective merchandise cannot be returned for exchange or refund. For new unused returns/exchanges please call for a return authorization. Shipping fees are not reimbursed. Returns may be subject to restocking/handling fees.
What does “Sisu” mean?
“Sisu” is a Finnish word that roughly translates as the ability to persevere against steep odds; determination; the drive to overcome adversity. It is a very good thing to have, both in skiing and in life.
How do I choose the best skis for me?
We strongly recommend that you stop by the shop to talk with our expert staff. They will ask you questions about the kind of skiing you enjoy (recreational, racing, backcountry), your skill level, size, general fitness level, and will select the skis that best suit you.
